Our goal for our women's courses is to create a fun and exciting workout while teaching practical and effective self-defense. If you've already received some training, consider heading on over to our advanced courses area!
Everyone is welcome to these courses, but there will be a particular emphasis on the issues women face more often than men.
We always encourage everyone to go at their own pace. If you ever need to take a quick break to catch your breath it means we did our jobs and gave you a great workout! After conditioning, we slow things down and focus on the technique to learn to improve our strength and speed with the kick or strike. Then we turn it back into a drill to get a workout and turn the technique into muscle memory.
It's never too early or too late to learn how to handle a tense situation. In an ideal world, we would never have to resort to violence. But whether breaking up a fight, walking alone at night, or for general fitness - nobody wants to be caught unprepared.
